Robert Kyr,
Director of the Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium
Robert Kyr is Professor of Music and chair of the composition department at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, where he has developed new models for teaching composition. The program at Oregon is presently one of the largest in the United States, and in addition to teaching, Kyr directs the Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium, the Music Today Festival, and the Vanguard Concert and Workshop Series, as well as the Pacific Rim Gamelan.​

Hannah Fulton,

Hannah Fulton is a composer, pianist, and recent graduate of the University of Oregon with Masters degrees in music composition and music theory. While at UO, she taught composition, aural skills and keyboard skills, and premiered an original oratorio entitled ​

Daniel De Togni,

Daniel De Togni is a composer and pianist who also enjoys learning about and practicing the shakuhachi. Daniel completed his PhD in composition at the University of Oregon and Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He currently teaches music theory and music technology at the University of Central Arkansas and Hendrix College.

Connor Wier,

Connor Wier is a composer and trumpet player with a deep interest in sacred vocal music. He recently wrote an opera under the mentorship of Dr. Kyr at the University of Oregon, where he is a Graduate Teaching Fellow in Composition.

Kevin Gunia,

Kevin Gunia is a composer, pianist, and educator. He is a Graduate Teaching Fellow in Composition at the University of Oregon. He enjoys writing music for a variety of instruments and ensembles, and he enjoys playing ragtime and traditional jazz piano.
