Robert Kyr,
Director of the Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium
Robert Kyr is Professor of Music and chair of the composition department at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, where he has developed new models for teaching composition. The program at Oregon is presently one of the largest in the United States, and in addition to teaching, Kyr directs the Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium, the Music Today Festival, and the Vanguard Concert and Workshop Series, as well as the Pacific Rim Gamelan.

Kevin Gunia,
Assistant to the Director

Kevin Gunia is a composer, pianist, and educator. He is a Graduate Teaching Fellow in Composition at the University of Oregon. He enjoys writing music for a variety of instruments and ensembles, and he enjoys playing ragtime and traditional jazz piano.

Joseph Rondeau,
Administrative Assistant
Joseph Rondeau is a doctoral student in composition and graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon. Joseph is also a singer, instrumentalist, and conductor. They are currently serving as the music director of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene.

Anthony Petruccello,
Administrative Assistant
Anthony Petruccello is a composer, guitarist, banjoist, and vocalist from New Jersey. He is a PhD student at the University of Oregon studying with Dr. Robert Kyr. Anthony writes both vocal and instrumental music for various ensembles.
